This guide covers how to use reports and dashboards in DOBiz SmartERP for data-driven decision making at Kistet Engineering & Trading.

Dashboard Overview

Your Personal Dashboard

When you log in, you see your personalized dashboard with: - My Open Tasks — Tasks assigned to you - Pending Approvals — Documents waiting for your approval - My Timesheets — Recent time entries - Notifications — Updates and alerts - Favorites — Your most-used documents

Customizing Your Dashboard

  1. Click Customize (gear icon)
  2. Add, remove, or rearrange widgets
  3. Save your custom layout
  4. Reset to default if needed

Where to Find Reports

  1. Go to any module (e.g., Projects, Accounting, Buying)
  2. Click on Reports in the sidebar
  3. Select a report from the list

Custom Reports

Creating a Custom Report

  1. Go to DOBiz SmartERP > Reports > Custom Report
  2. Click + Add Custom Report
  3. Define:
  4. Report Name
  5. Reference DocType — Which data to report on
  6. Columns — Which fields to show
  7. Filters — Default filter values
  8. Click Save
  9. The report will appear in the Reports list

Example: Project Cost Summary Report

  1. Reference: Project
  2. Columns: Name, Status, Project Value, Total Costs, Profit Margin
  3. Filters: Company = Kistet Engineering & Trading

Exporting Reports

All reports can be exported: 1. Click Export button (top-right) 2. Select format: - Excel (.xlsx) - CSV (.csv) - PDF (.pdf) 3. Download the file

Printing Reports

  1. Click Print button
  2. Preview the report
  3. Adjust page settings if needed
  4. Print or save as PDF

Scheduled Report Emails

  1. Open any saved report
  2. Click Set Up Auto Email
  3. Configure:
  4. Send Every — Daily, Weekly, Monthly
  5. Day of Week (if weekly)
  6. Day of Month (if monthly)
  7. Recipients — Email addresses
  8. Click Save
